The Top Thanksgiving Items We’ll Forget to Buy Include Cranberries, Potatoes, and Pie Crusts

Have you bought all your Thanksgiving stuff yet? And did you forget anything?

Instacart’s competitor Shipt just released its first “Thanksgiving Most Forgotten List” of the things people tend to forget about.

They polled over 2,000 Americans, and also looked through shopping data from the last two Thanksgivings.

And the #1 thing we’ll forget to buy is . . . cranberry sauce. The item we’re least likely to forget is . . . the booze.

61% of Americans have forgotten to buy at least one item for Thanksgiving before. Here are the 10 things you’re most likely to forget . . .

Cranberries or cranberry sauce . . . spices, like thyme or rosemary . . . napkins . . . drinks . . . pumpkin pie spices . . . pie crusts . . . potatoes . . . plates . . . decorations for the table . . . and candles.

They also looked at the top things people bought last-minute in 2019 and 2020. Pie crusts made that list too. The other four are rolls, cream cheese, fried onions, and butter.
