The Village of Johnson City Water Department is advising residents of certain areas to boil their water before consuming.

They say due to a water main break on Marian Drive and Christina Drive just off of Reynolds Road, certain areas became void of water.

Customers who live in the following areas should boil their water before consuming:

  • Tokos Grove Road
  • Dellapenna Drive
  • Dellrose Lane
  • Reynolds Road between Tokos Grove and Pinewood Blvd
  • Oakdale Road – north of Overbrook Road
  • Nelson Road
  • Aetna Road between Oakdale and Nelson

  • Deyo Hill Road
  • Columbia Drive
  • David Drive
  • Eric Drive
  • Eric Court
  • Enid Place
  • Tamara Lane
  • Pamela Drive
  • Weymouth Lane
  • Marlayne Drive
  • Christina Drive
  • Marian Drive
  • Anna Maria Drive
  • Penna Road
  • San Marco Drive
  • Oakview Drive
  • Rose Lane
  • Lee Circle
  • Nadine Way
  • Deborah Drive

The water department is advising residents to bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using. They also recommend using bottled water.

The boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes, food preparation and making ice.

The water department says customers will be notified when they no longer need to boil their water.
