Will Your Next Car Be Gas or Electric?

A new poll asked 10,000 Americans what they’d buy if they were car-shopping today.  And over half said a hybrid, or a fully electric car.

37% would still go for a gas-powered engine . . . 24% would buy a hybrid . . . and 21% would buy an electric car.  Another 13% weren’t sure, and 5% said “none of the above.”  (What’s the other option?  Foot-powered like the “Flintstones”?)

Young people are more likely to want to make the switch.  Only 22% of people under 30 would buy a gas car, compared to 44% of seniors.
