In another slow weekend at the box office, The Beekeeper edged out Mean Girls. This would be the first time the Jason Statham action flick was in the top spot since it opened three weeks ago. The standings could change once final numbers come in on Monday.
Mean Girls was a close second with $7.3 million, about $100,000 behind The Beekeeper.
Wonka remained in third with $5.9 million, followed by Migration ($5.2 million) and Anyone But You ($4.8 million).
